Your sales team is as dynamic as its selling strategies. Whether new hires are being added to the sales organization, current employees are leaving the company, or top performers are being promoted to new roles, the team itself is constantly shifting and evolving.
Due to the sensitive nature of the information that Backstory handles, your user list and permission sets must be updated at least weekly.
We recommend leveraging Salesforce Role Hierarchy and enabling relevant teams so users can be automatically provisioned and imported into Backstory based on your Salesforce team structure. By doing so, new hires can be consistently added, given access to the correct team and permission levels, and offboarded in a timely manner.
Keeping user lists and permission sets up to date is crucial to managing your data privacy effectively. Users who should no longer have access to the application should be decommissioned with urgency by your Backstory Administrator.
If you are curious about how to ensure the privacy of your company's data, check out the Privacy and Security section of the Help Center.
Please reach out to support@backstory.ai if you have any questions regarding user management and data.
