Install the Backstory Chrome Extension

Access the Backstory App menu when you start Chrome or open a new tab.

The Backstory: You use the Backstory App throughout your day to update your CRM and access Backstory Forecasting, so you need a way to access the app quickly. Instead of going to app.backstory.ai every time, you install the Chrome extension so all you need to do is open your browser or a new browser tab to access the Backstory App menu.

The Backstory Chrome extension sets the Backstory App menu as your homepage and new-tab page in Google Chrome, so it opens automatically whenever you launch the browser or open a new tab. The extension gives you faster access to the Backstory App you already use, so your Sheets and forecasting tools are always just one click away.

  2. Click the More options icon next to Backstory.

  3. Select Remove from Chrome.

  4. Confirm when Chrome prompts you.
