Backstory provides value by automatically syncing activities to Salesforce. Follow the steps below to validate Backstory's sync feature.
Validating People Sync
Create an Activity report
In Salesforce, navigate to Reports
Click New Report to start building your report.
Select Activities as the report subtype and choose Tasks and Events.
Click Create
Add a Created by Backstory filter
From the Report Builder, click "Add" to add a filter. The default operator for the filter will be AND.
Select the Created by Backstory field from Activity: Custom Info.
Set the value to True.
From the Show drop-down lists, select the following parameters:All Activities
Open & Completed Activities
Tasks and Events
Click Run Report. Salesforce will then report all tasks and events that Backstory synced.
