Filtering

Filtering on your Engagement Dashboard enables you to narrow down large datasets into more specialized views. Filtering is incredibly responsive and intuitive, so you don’t need to be a data scientist to create insightful dashboards within minutes. Experiment away!

How it Works

To start, click the filter icon above your column titles.

Once the filter prompt appears, first select the scope of the data that you’d like to see. The default scope is All Accounts, All Opportunities, or All Teams.

It’s recommended to narrow this scope down to just your team or a specific team in your organization.

Then, enter the first field that you’d like to apply as a filter to your dashboard’s data.

From there, select the filter operator (Is, Is Not, Greater, etc.), and add the filter value.

Want to get advanced? Add filter groups, and and/or logic to your filter configuration.

To apply additional filters, simply click Add Filter below your first filter.

Cross Filtering

Cross filtering enables you to refine your dashboard beyond the object type (Account, Opportunity, Team) on which you initially created it.

For example, you can refine an Opportunity dashboard to include filters based on activity levels or Account characteristics.

To add a cross filter, simply click Add Cross-Object Filters from the filter button’s menu.

From there, simply choose the field for which you’d like to add a cross filter, and select the operator and field value as you normally would.
